The Vietnam - Laos Friendship Military-Civilian Medical Station at the Long Sap Border Gate Border Guard Station in Moc Chau district has recently received four Lao children poisoned by wild mushrooms.

A working delegation from the Departments of Education and Sports of Houaphanh, Luang Prabang, Oudomxay, Phongsaly, Xieng Khouang, Sainyabuli, and Bokeo provinces of Laos visited and exchanged experience in training Lao students with universities and colleges in Son La province on September 13.

The Son La Music, Song and Dance Theater is a professional art unit in the province. Besides performing at local political events, it also engages in diplomatic and cultural exchanges through various programmes and events, enhancing the special and enduring friendship between Vietnam and Laos.

A delegation of the People’s Councils of the Lao provinces of Bokeo, Phongsaly and Oudomxay on May 16 visited some outstanding agriculture models in Son La province.

The provincial Youth Union on April 15 organised cultural and sports exchange activities on the occasion of Laos’ traditional Bunpimay Festival 2024 for Lao students who are studying and researching at colleges and universities in the province.

Mai Son district and Xieng Kho district, Laos’ Houaphanh province held the 12th working session to evaluate the results of coordination in various fields in the 2022-2024 period and sign a memorandum of understanding for collaboration in 2024-2026.

I returned to Sam Neua township, Houaphanh province, Laos on the occasion of the Son La - Houaphanh Tourism-Culture Festival 2024. Sam Neua today has a new face with wide streets and many vehicles; plentiful goods in stores and commercial areas; and constantly improving people's lives.
