Son La holds exchange with Lao People's Army cadets

Son La province’s liaison board of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and military experts in Laos on August 19 coordinated with Regiment 754 under the provincial Military Command to organize an exchange with cadets of the Lao People's Army studying at the regiment.

The delegates reviewed the special friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, as well as close ties between Son La province and Laos’ northern provinces. Throughout history, the friendship between Son La province and the northern provinces of Laos has been constantly forged and developed.

Over the past years, the Son La provincial Military Command has actively carried out defense diplomacy comprehensively, synchronously, closely and effectively, contributing to tightening the solidarity and cohesion between the two countries’ armies and people, and to building a borderline of peace, stability, cooperation and development.

In the atmosphere full of friendship, cadets of the Lao People's Army studying in Son La province and the art troupe of Son La city performed special art performances praising the love for homeland and country, solidarity and friendship between the people of Vietnam and Laos; the revolutionary and heroic tradition of the Vietnamese People's Army and the Lao People's Army. The performances also affirmed the attachment, loyalty, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
