The Son La provincial Department of Public Security, in coordination with the provincial Youth Union, held a ceremony on June 20 to launch the “Learning to be a police officer” programme 2025.

Phieng Bay hamlet, Chieng Khay commune, Quynh Nhai district, is home to 212 households with over 1,000 residents. About 85% of them are the Red Dao ethnic people, who have lived there for generations.

Chieng Di 2 hamlet, Van Ho commune, Van Ho district is home to nearly 100 households of the Mong ethnic group.

Chieng En commune, Song Ma district has publicly posted 65 administrative procedures across various sectors at its one-stop-shop unit.

Thom Mom commune in Thuan Chau district is currently providing policy-based support to 380 beneficiaries, including people with meritorious service.

Tan Yen commune, Moc Chau township has hosted 120,000 tourists since the beginning of this year, creating jobs and increasing incomes for locals.

Sap Vat commune in Yen Chau district currently has about 3,000 people of working age, accounting for 60% of its population.
