Son La city organised a spring festival to celebrate the 95th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – 2025) and welcome the Year of the Snake 2025 at Tay Bac (Northwest) Square in Son La city on the morning of February 1 (the 4th day of the Lunar New Year).

The provincial Association of the Blind on January 23 coordinated with sponsors to organise the "Spring of Love – Tet Gathering" programme, during which they presented 60 gifts, worth 1 million VND (39.8 USD) each, to members and blind people in the province.

The 2025 Quynh Nhai district Culture, Sports, and Tourism Week will take place from February 7-9 (the 10th -12th day of the first lunar month).
