The Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defence present busts of President Ho Chi Minh to 75 communes and wards across Son La province.
Attending the event were Hoang Van Nghiem, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, and Secretary of the provincial Military Party Committee; Major General Pham Hung Hung, Deputy Commander of Military Region 2; Colonel Chu Van Thanh, member of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board and Commander of the provincial Military Command; leaders of several provincial departments and agencies; and representatives of the 75 communes and wards.
To ensure solemnity, consistency and uniformity in design, dimensions, colour and material, the Central Military Commission planned to present over 3,300 busts of President Ho Chi Minh for display in the halls at administrative headquarters of communes, wards and special zones in 34 provinces and cities nationwide, including 75 in Son La.
The presentation of President Ho Chi Minh’s busts carries profound political and cultural significance, helping spread the values of his ideology, morality and style, while further strengthening public trust and faith in the Party and the late leader.
