Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee on May 13 inspected the implementation of Scheme 666 on stabilising the population and developing the socio-economic conditions of the resettlement areas for the Son La Hydropower Project for the period 2026-2030, in Tan Yen commune, Moc Chau township.
The provincial Department of Education and Training held an event on May 13 at To Hieu Kindergarten in Son La city to sum up the implementation of the "Building child-centered kindergartens" programme in the 2021-2025 period.
The Quynh Nhai district Red Cross Society, in collaboration with the district’s General Hospital, on May 13 presented 101 gifts to poor and particularly disadvantaged households in Muong Sai and Nam Et communes.

The provincial Veterans Association, in collaboration with the Vietnam Friendship Village and Military Hospital 103, on May 10 organised free medical examinations, medication distribution, cardiovascular disease and cancer screening for approximately 200 people from poor households, policy beneficiary families, and members of the Veterans Association in Xim Vang commune, Bac Yen district.
