A working delegation from the Son La provincial People’s Committee led by Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Cong on October 17 had a working session with the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam to discuss investment promotion, agricultural product sale, and development support through ODA funding. The delegation was received by Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Ito Naoki.
The Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans of Son La city on October 21 coordinated with sponsors to present wheelchairs and bicycles to people with disabilities (PWDs), as well as gifts and scholarships to orphans.

The Son La provincial Department of Education and Training organised a conference on October 17 to provide consultancy on removing difficulties and obstacles in implementing contracts for primary health care and food safety in organising school meals in the province.
