Provincial leaders on February 13 offered incense at King Le Thai Tong Temple, President Ho Chi Minh Temple and the Memorial House for the Martyrs of Son La Prison, and paid tribute to martyrs at Son La Prison Martyrs’ Cemetery on the occasion of the Party’s 96th founding anniversary and the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2026.
As the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2026 approaches, the Party Committee and authorities of Bac Yen commune are actively organising activities to care for local residents, especially poor households, policy beneficiary families, and those in difficult circumstances, ensuring that everyone can welcome the new spring in warmth and joy.

With the spirit of “leaving no poor household to celebrate Tet in temporary housing,” Thuan Chau commune has completed its plan to eliminate newly identified temporary and dilapidated houses. For poor households welcoming the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2026 in spacious new homes, this Tet is truly special.
A working delegation of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) led by Governor Nguyen Thi Hong on February 8 visited Son La and presented gifts to families of people with meritorious service, Party cell secretaries, and heads of hamlet Fatherland Front committees in the province.
