Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan attended a ceremony at the Son La provincial Convention Centre on September 5 to present the 80-year Party membership badges to veteran Party members of the provincial Party Organisation on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945-2026).
As a mountainous province with challenging terrain, Son La has many roads that are frequently affected by floods and landslides. Some roads were built many years ago, while rising traffic volumes have accelerated deterioration of road surfaces and infrastructure. Alongside investment in key transport routes, the province is stepping up management and maintenance, addressing locations with potential traffic safety risks, and gradually improving connectivity to ensure safe and uninterrupted travel.
In celebration of the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945–2026) and National Day (September 2, 1945–2026), Phu Yen commune has spruced up its streets and public spaces, giving the locality a bright new look.
With their youthful energy, pioneering spirit, creativity and technological agility, young people in Son La province are gradually asserting their pivotal role in the province’s digital transformation journey. Through concrete projects and initiatives, members of the provincial Youth Union and young people are not only integrating technology into youth union activities but also helping spread digital skills and expand residents’ access to digital services, contributing to the development of a digital society across the province.
The People’s Committee of Muong Gion commune is organising a cultural, sports and tourism festival from August 30 to September 1 to celebrate the 81st anniversary of Vietnam’s August Revolution and National Day (September 2, 1945 – 2026).
