The Son La provincial People’s Committee on May 20 announced the results of the 2025 Department and District Competitiveness Index (DDCI Son La 2025), which measures the competitiveness of provincial departments, agencies and local authorities.

Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Dang Ngoc Hau on May 14 chaired a working session with the Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs and relevant agencies and units to implement Official Dispatch No. 1120/BDTTG-VPQGDTMN issued on April 29, 2026, by the Ministry of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, providing guidance on the implementation of the second component of the National Target Programme 417. The meeting was connected online to 75 communes and wards across the province.
