The provincial Cooperative Alliance on April 7 held a ceremony to commemorate the 80th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s call on landowners and farmers to join Vietnam’s cooperatives, and to honour outstanding role models in 2026.

Lo Minh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, and Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, on April 7 co-chaired a conference on the organisation of the Son La provincial defensive area exercise 2026. Attending the event were members of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board and members of the exercise organising committee.

Member of the provincial Party Committee's Standing Board and Permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Ha Trung Chien on April 6 chaired a meeting on the organisation of the 5th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2026 in Son La province. The meeting also saw the presence of representatives of relevant departments and agencies, as well as To Hieu, Chieng Sinh, Chieng An, and Chieng Coi wards, along with teachers and students of several local schools.
