Hoang Van Nghiem, Member of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and head of the provincial delegation to the National Assembly, on September 11 chaired a meeting of the provincial Party Committee's Standing Board to consider and decide on a number of matters within its jurisdiction.

A provincial delegation led by Cha A Cua, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, on September 10 inspected the construction progress of the Primary and Secondary Boarding Schools in Muong Hung and Chieng Khoong communes. The 16th-tenure Son La provincial People’s Council for the 2026-2031 term held its third thematic session on August 28 to consider and decide on matters within its authority.
