A delegation from Son La province led by Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Cong of the provincial People's Committee held a working session on October 17 with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union (VNFU) on promoting agricultural products and organizing the Son La Agricultural Products Week in Hanoi.

The delegation was received by Pham Tien Nam, Vice Chairman of the VNFU Central Committee, along with representatives from several departments.

During the working session, both sides compared notes on the organization of the Son La Agricultural Products Week in Hanoi in November, which will showcase the province's agricultural products and OCOP (One Commune One Product) items. Son La also called for support from the VNFU Central Committee in securing a venue for the event and mobilizing participation from farmers' unions in northern and north central provinces.

The VNFU Central Committee urged the provincial People's Committee to provide information about the locality’s new agricultural products to diversify displayed goods. It also shared quality requirements for agricultural products in markets across the Middle East, East Asia, and Europe, helping Son La align its production with market demands and enhance export opportunities.
