More than 300 police officers and personnel from divisions under the provincial Department of Public Security and police units in To Hieu, Chieng Coi, Chieng Sinh and Chieng An wards have been mobilised to maintain security and public order during the second Son La Coffee Festival 2026, which runs from October 9 to 13. The operation also involves 40 members of grassroots security forces from To Hieu and Chieng Coi wards.

Son La province is seeking to speed up the implementation of energy projects to attract investment, with authorities focusing on resolving legal and land clearance bottlenecks.

In 2026, Mai Son commune was allocated 89 billion VND (3.43 million USD) in public investment capital to implement seven ongoing projects and five newly launched projects.
