Wheelchairs, bicycles presented to disabled people, scholarships to orphans
The Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans of Son La city on October 21 coordinated with sponsors to present wheelchairs and bicycles to people with disabilities (PWDs), as well as gifts and scholarships to orphans.

Sixteen wheelchairs, seven bicycles, eight sponsorship gifts, and several scholarships, with a total value of over 43 million VND (1,700 USD), were given to those in Chieng Coi, Chieng Le, Chieng An, Chieng Sinh and To Hieu wards, and Chieng Ngan, Chieng Xom and Hua La communes. The gifts are expected to help PWDs travel more conveniently, reduce relatives’ burden of caring for them, encourage them to have more determination to overcome difficulties, strive to improve their lives, and gradually integrate into the community.
