29th Tay Bac-Viet Bac Fine Arts Exhibition to take place in early November

The 29th Region III (Tay Bac-Viet Bac) Fine Arts Exhibition will be held in Son La city on November 1-5.

 

At the meeting of the Organising Committee for the 29th Region III (Tay Bac-Viet Bac) Fine Arts Exhibition.

To prepare for the exhibition, the provincial People's Committee has issued a decision to establish the Organising Committee and assigned tasks to its members. The Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has developed a plan for coordinating activities related to the event, including designing banners and panels, selecting installation locations for visual promotion, and preparing art programmes.

The Organising Committee convened a meeting on October 16 to discuss preparations for the exhibition. It said it is collaborating with the Vietnam Fine Arts Association to facilitate the registration of painters and prepare the artworks for the exhibition. 

Additionally, the committee is also designing a space displaying the artworks and preparing for a meeting with literature and arts associations from 15 Tay Bac-Viet Bac (Northwestern) provinces under the theme “The fine arts of the Tay Bac-Viet Bac region in the cultural life of ethnic groups.”

The Tay Bac-Viet Bac region comprises 15 provinces including Vinh Phuc, Cao Bang, Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Ha Giang, Bac Kan, Hoa Binh, Lao Cai, Lang Son, Yen Bai, Bac Giang, Dien Bien, Lai Chau and Son La.
