Ta Xua was recently established through the merger of the former Ta Xua, Lang Cheu, and Hang Dong communes. The commune has a total natural area of 233.67 sq.km, with predominantly mountainous terrain situated at altitudes ranging from 1,200 to 2,800 metres above the sea level. With its high mountains, year-round cool climate, majestic natural landscapes, and rich ethnic cultural identity, Ta Xua holds great potential for diverse and sustainable tourism development.

The provincial Tourism Association presents a flower basket to Ta Xua commune.

In recent years, thanks to the support of higher-level authorities and the collective efforts of local people, tourism in Ta Xua has gradually flourished, becoming an attractive destination for both domestic and international tourists. Famous landmarks include “Ta Xua Cloud Paradise,” “Dinosaur Spine,” primeval forests and grasslands, Hang Dong, U Bo Peak, alongside a network of streams and waterfalls with exceptional scenic value. They all have attracted adventure seekers, cloud hunters, and experience-oriented tourists.

The area now boasts over 50 accommodation establishments, with many well-equipped to serve both domestic and foreign visitors. The main road from Bac Yen commune to Ta Xua commune, along with several inter-village roads, has been upgraded, improving accessibility and facilitating the development of new tourism routes.
