The line will begin full operation this month at Doveco’s Son La factory, a key agro-processing hub in the northwest region. The Tetra Recart packaging solution allows food to be sterilised and preserved without the need for refrigeration or preservatives. With a capacity of 6,000 cartons per hour or 6-8 million cartons per year, the new line offers cost-effective production, reduces waste, and meets growing demand for safe, convenient, and environmentally friendly food products.

Leaders of Son La province present flowers to congratulate the inauguration of the line.

The line will package various agricultural products such as sweet corn, pineapple juice, and different types of beans. It aims to support the sale and export of local produce, create more jobs, and promote the agricultural value chain for farmers and cooperatives in Son La and neighbouring provinces.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Tran Thanh Nam speaks at the event.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nam expressed his hope that in the coming time, Son La and Doveco will continue to work closely with businesses, cooperatives, and farmers to develop raw material areas, build strong production linkages, and establish a value chain for agricultural exports to reach the global market.

Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Cong speaks at the inauguration ceremony.

In his speech at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Son La provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Cong affirmed that the province is committed to working alongside Doveco to build a strong production chain, strengthen ties with cooperatives and farmers, and promote the development of raw material areas, and create favourable conditions for Doveco to enhance its modern production line, and boost the sale of Son La’s agricultural products.
