The contest, the second of its kind, was held from May to September 20. It attracted the participation of 34 individuals inside and outside the province, with 261 works. The photos feature the beauty, richness and diversity of life, and unique cultural activities of the ethnic groups in Bac Yen. They also demonstrate the photographers’ deep feelings about historical and cultural relic sites, scenic spots, potential and strengths for tourism development, and socio-economic development achievements of the district.

After three rounds of judging, 50 best works were selected to be on display, and one A, two B,  five C and 10 consolation prizes were named. The work "Snow on U Bo Peak" by Nguyen Van Duy from Tan Lang commune, Phu Yen district, won the A prize.

The contest is one among a series of activities to celebrate the 60th founding anniversary of the district Party Organisation (September 29, 1964 - 2024) and the district (October 20, 1964 - 2024).
