The delegation, led by Nguyen Huu Dong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, and head of the provincial delegation of National Assembly deputies, was welcomed by Donatella Tesei, President of Umbria region.

At the working session, the two sides discussed law building, promulgation and enforcement, and supervision of law enforcement, as well as relationships between authorities at all levels during the law enforcement process. They also introduced their local potential and advantages to promote cooperation and development.

During their stay, the Son La delegation visited the Vietnamese Embassy in Italy and the high-tech park for agricultural machinery production in Umbria region.
