Inpatient treatment building handed over to Laos’ Muang Et hospital

Member of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board and Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Cha A Cua on January 10 attended a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over a building for inpatient treatment to Muang Et district’s hospital in Laos’ Houaphanh province.

Leaders of Son La and Houaphanh provinces cut the ribbon to inaugurate the building.

Construction on the building started in November 25, 2022, and completed on December 25, 2023, with 5 billion VND (204,750 USD) provided by Son La province. This is an important work contributing to the development of infrastructure in the health field, and meeting the treatment needs of Houaphanh province as well as Muang Et district. As the result of cooperation between the two provinces, the building will help improve the quality of health check-ups, treatment and care for people in the district.
