Lao army officers and soldiers visit Yen Chau district

A delegation of officers and soldiers from the Lao People's Army on November 4 visited the Vietnam - Laos revolutionary historical relic site in Lao Kho I hamet, Phieng Khoai commune, Yen Chau district.

The relic site is a place marking the revolutionary activities of the North Laos Vanguard Division and Lao leader Kaysone Phomvihane in the 1948-1950 period. They were helped by Trang Lao Kho's family and the people of Lao Kho hamlet. This site also preserves great historical values and the great solidarity between the two countries in general and between the people of all ethnic groups in Son La province and the northern provinces of Laos in particular.

The delegation offered incense at the Memorial House and visited the area displaying artifacts featuring the solidarity, attachment, assistance and sharing between Vietnam and Laos in general and between Son La province and its Lao Kho hamlet and Northern Laos provinces in particular. At the same time, they recalled the tradition of solidarity and friendship between the two Parties, States and peoples. The delegation hoped that the two Parties and States will continue to preserve and promote the special solidarity and friendship, making the Vietnam - Laos and Laos – Vietnam relationship "forever green, eternally sustainable".
