Attendees included Trang Thi Xuan, member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People's Committee; leaders from various provincial departments and agencies; representatives of the liaison boards of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and military experts in Laos of the province and Son La city; staff, teachers, and Lao students from the college.
At the meeting, delegates and Lao students reminisced about the traditional friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, as well as between Son La province and northern Laos. They also discussed the training of Lao students at the Son La Medical College.
Lao students expressed their gratitude for the school’s support to their study and pledged to continue learning diligently to improve their expertise.
Currently, the Son La Medical College is training 221 Lao students. The school provides dormitories equipped with all necessary facilities and equipment to meet the studying and living needs of the Lao students. On this occasion, representatives from provincial departments and agencies, as well as the provincial and city liaison boards presented gifts to the Lao students.
