During the training session, local experts provided instructions on techniques for grafting and budding fruit trees to improve plant varieties and rapidly propagate high-yield, high-quality species suited to the soil conditions of northern Laos; and artificial insemination techniques for buffaloes and cows to improve livestock quality, enhance breeding efficiency, and strengthen disease prevention. These are advanced techniques currently being effectively implemented in Son La.

The training programme served as an opportunity for agricultural officials from both sides to exchange expertise and experience, contributing to the agricultural development and income improvement in northern Lao provinces. It also helped strengthen the special solidarity and friendship between the two countries.
