Implementing the 2025 Memorandum of Understanding, the Son La provincial Military Command and the Military Commands of Oudomxay and Luang Prabang have upheld the spirit of solidarity, special friendship, mutual understanding, and trust; proactively grasped the situation and coordinated to effectively address arising issues, contributing to maintaining political stability and social order in each province.

The parties have regularly exchanged information and coordinated in advising local Party committees and authorities to effectively solve issues related to spontaneous migration; conducted communication campaigns and encouraged residents to comply with border regulations; and jointly built a Vietnam–Laos borderline of stability and comprehensive development.

In the coming time, they agreed to continue to extensively promote among officers, soldiers, and people the special friendship and solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
They will strengthen the exchange of experience in socio-economic development and in building armed forces between Son La and the provinces of Oudomxay and Luang Prabang, particularly in military training and mass mobilisation work; and maintain regular periodic meetings on a rotational basis at the provincial military command level.
