Son La Border Guard Command presents rice to Laos’ border guard force

The Son La Border Guard Command's working delegation organized a ceremony at Chieng Khuong border gate on December 22 to hand over sticky rice to Companies 211, 212, 213, 214 of the Military Command of Laos’ Huaphanh province, each 700kg.

The provincial Border Guard Command hands over rice to the border guard companies of the Military Command of Huaphanh province, at border marker 207.

The gift, worth 50 million VND (2,060 USD), was donated by Phuong Dong construction materials store in Hat Lot town, Mai Son district, Son La province.

At border marker 207, the working delegation of the Son La Border Guard Command, led by its political commissar Colonel Ca Van Lap, presented rice to the working delegation of the Military Command of Laos’ Huaphanh province, headed by its political commander Colonel Phansi Xonmixay, along with representatives of Companies 211, 212, 213. Company 214 will receive rice at Long Sap border gate.

This activity has helped better logistics for the Lao border guard force, contributing to strengthening the coordination between the Son La and Lao border guard forces in carrying out the task of managing and protecting each side's national border.
