Leaders of Son La province’s Military Command extended the best wishes to officers and soldiers of the Military Command of Houaphanh province on the 75th founding anniversary of the Lao People's Army. They also donated 3.5 tonnes of rice and gifts worth 70 million VND (2,850 USD).

The Military Command of Houaphanh province thanked its Son La counterpart for affection and effective coordination in protecting border sovereignty and security; and personnel training. It expressed a hope that the Military Commands of the two provinces will continue to strengthen cooperation and exchange of information and experience in building their localities and maintaining security, social order and safety in border areas, contributing to cultivating the friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
