Xayabury province’s war veterans visit Son La

A delegation of the war veterans association of Laos’ Xayabury province led by its Vice President Duongsi Canthayano on October 12 paid a courtesy visit to leaders of Son La province as part of their working trip to the locality.

The Lao delegation was welcomed by Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Nguyen Thai Hung.

 The delegation of Xayabury province’s war veterans association pays a courtesy visit to Son La province’s leaders and presents a gift to the Vietnamese locality.

At the meeting, the Xayabury official briefed the hosts on marked cooperation outcomes between the war veterans associations of the two provinces, and noted a hope that leaders of both sides will further facilitate exchanges and mutual support between the associations.

For his part, Hung also informed the Lao delegation about achievements Son La has recorded in socio-economic development over the past time, saying he hopes that the two associations will organise more joint activities, contributing to strengthening the special solidarity and friendship between the two provinces and the two countries at large./.
