"Xaysomboun - Son La" Friendship Park inaugurated

Cha A Cua, member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Council, on January 7 led a working delegation from Son La province to attend the inauguration and handover ceremony of the "Xaysomboun - Son La" Friendship Park in Laos’ Xaysomboun province.

Leaders of the two provinces inaugurate the project.

The "Xaysomboun - Son La" Friendship Park is a gift from the Party Committee, authorities and people of ethnic groups in Son La province to their Xaysomboun courterparts and the result of a cooperation agreement between the two provinces signed for the 2022-2024 period. The project is also a symbol of solidarity and friendship between the two provinces.

In recent years, the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Son La and Xaysomboun have continuously developed and achieved many good results in all fields, making an important contribution to promoting socio-economic development, strengthening national defence-security, and stabilizing the lives of the people in the two provinces. Their relationship has also contributed to the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the Parties, States and people of Vietnam and Laos.
