This year's National Day holiday lasts five days from August 29 to September 2, providing favourable conditions for tourist attractions to welcome large numbers of visitors. In Binh Thuan commune, tourists can explore the lush green tea hills and colourful flower gardens at Pha Din Top, visit the local market and sample traditional dishes of the Mong ethnic community.
Tourist numbers are expected to increase 30% from the same period in 2025, with revenue estimated at around 3 billion VND (115,064 USD).
Ahead of the holiday, the commune People's Committee asked businesses, cooperatives and household operators to prepare the necessary conditions to welcome visitors, while ensuring public security, traffic safety, food safety and environmental sanitation.
They were also asked to step up promotion of tourist destinations and services, strictly comply with regulations governing tourism services, display prices and charge the posted prices, and maintain civilized and courteous conduct in tourism activities.
