Binh Thuan harvests over 7,000 tonnes of fresh tea buds

Binh Thuan currently has more than 800 hectares of tea, primarily consisting of Kim Tuyen and Shan Tuyet tea varieties. Of this, 738 hectares are currently being harvested, while the remaining area houses newly planted tea.

Local farmers have harvested over 7,000 tonnes of fresh tea buds since the beginning of the year, with a yield of 9 tonnes per hectare. To improve both productivity and product quality, local residents are actively applying advanced techniques in care and pest control.

The local cooperatives are strengthening their partnerships with tea-growing households in harvesting, processing, and purchasing the products, contributing to the preservation and growth of the Binh Thuan tea brand.
