Cassava is currently in the harvest season, with this year’s fresh cassava yield estimated at 15 tonnes per hectare. Fresh cassava is sold at about 1,500 VND (0.057 USD) per kilogramme, while dried cassava ranges from 3,000 VND to 4,000 VND per kilogramme.

Fresh cassava is mainly purchased by traders for export to the Chinese market and partly supplied to starch processing factories inside and outside the province. Dried cassava is bought by several food processing companies as a production material. The 2025-2026 crop harvest is expected to be completed by the end of February 2026.
