The commune has encouraged a shift toward organic and safe farming practices that meet VietGAP standards, aiming to build product branding, raise value and enhance market competitiveness.

Looking ahead to 2026, Chieng So plans to encourage residents to rejuvenate mixed gardens through grafting and introduce new crop varieties. The goal is to expand total fruit-growing area to more than 1,600 hectares.
