The province currently has 5,934 hectares of tea, with main varieties including Kim Tuyen, Van Son and Shan Tuyet.

Tea-growing households are focusing on proper care and improvement, shifting from traditional farming methods to organic-oriented production in accordance with VietGAP standards, improving productivity and product quality, and meeting standards for domestic consumption and export to markets such as Taiwan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, China, and Japan.
