Na Mon hamlet harvests over 210 tonnes of orange

Na Mon hamlet in Sop Cop commune has more than 26 hectares of orange orchards. This year’s favourable weather conditions have resulted in an average yield of about 10 tonnes of fruit per hectare.

Since November, local farmers have harvested over 210 tonnes of orange, sold for 30,000 to 35,000 VND (1.33 USD) per kilogramme, earning substantial income. By the end of December, they are expected to complete the harvest and begin pruning branches, shaping canopies, fertilising, and carrying out pest control to help the trees recover and grow, ensuring productivity for next year’s crop.
