Outstanding rural industrial products in Son La evaluated

The judging panel for the 2025 outstanding rural industrial products of Son La province on October 27 convened at the provincial centre for investment, trade and tourism promotion to evaluate the shortlisted products.

As of October 23, 2025, the judging panel had received 71 applications from 34 units across the province. Based on the regulations on the selection of outstanding rural industrial products, the assisting team reviewed, compiled, and preliminarily verified the submitted applications. As a result, 67 products from 33 units across the province qualified for the selection round.

At the meeting of the judging panel. 

The qualified entries were divided into three product categories, including one handicraft item; 59 processed agricultural, forestry, fishery, and food products; and seven others. The applications for the 2025 provincial-level selection were upgraded and supplemented from the district-level submissions, meeting all regulatory requirements.

The evaluation is scheduled to take place over five days, from October 27 to 31. Among the 67 entries, the judging panel will select 30 products that meet the criteria and achieve the highest scores to be recognised as Son La province’s outstanding rural industrial products of 2025, with results expected to be announced in November. Of these, 15 products will be nominated for the 2026 national selection.
