To date, the entire province has maintained and supported the development of 285 safe agricultural and seafood supply chains; five high-tech farming areas and 300 planting area codes. It has recognised high-tech coffee production areas of Son La Coffee Processing Joint Stock Company in Chieng Chung and Chieng Ban communes, Mai Son district.

In the past six months, IC FOOD Son La Co., Ltd. has signed contracts to purchase 1,094 tonnes of raw materials; while Nafoods Northwest Joint Stock Company has bought over 300 tonnes of passion fruit.

At the same time, the province has maintained 373 hectares of pineapple, 343 hectares of passion fruit, 34.5 hectares of sweet corn and nearly 32 hectares of spinach, providing raw materials for processing at Dong Giao Foodstuff Export Joint Stock Company.
