Son La strawberries “fly” with Vietnam Airlines

In order to bring diverse experiences to passengers, and promote Vietnamese agricultural products, Vietnam Airlines officially serves Son La strawberries - one of the outstanding specialties of the northwestern region - on its flights from February 16-22.

In addition to fresh strawberries, the fruit is processed by Noi Bai Catering Services Joint Stock Company (NCS) into many attractive dishes such as mousse cake, yogurt, and tea to serve passengers on some domestic flights and international routess to Europe, Australia, the US, the Republic of Korea, and Japan.

This is an opportunity to continue affirming the quality and brand of the province's agricultural products, thereby promoting those of Son La in particular and Vietnam in general to friends around the world.

In addition, the national flag carrier has carried Son La strawberries on its flights to provinces and cities across the country. Since 2023, more than 2,200 tonnes of strawberries have been transported by the airline, accounting for more than 92% of the market share.

Vietnam Airlines has served various Vietnamese fruits on its flights, such as Hung Yen longan, Son La plum, Luc Ngan lychee (Bac Giang), Cao Phong orange (Hoa Binh), and Vietnamese coffee. Through these cooperation programmes, the carrier affirms its role as a bridge between regions, contributing to bringing Vietnamese agricultural products closer to domestic and international consumers.
