Implementing the "One Commune, One Product" (OCOP) programme, Thuan Chau district has prioritised the development of local specialties and traditional products, while upgrading strong local offerings.
It has also guided OCOP producers to differentiate their products, increase added value, and regularly update food safety certifications.
In 2025, the district aims to have six additional products certified with at least 3 stars, including three products made from son tra (hawthorn), Pa Long sticky rice cakes, Chieng Bom black canarium, and Chieng Pha coffee.

The “Huong Doi” smoked buffalo meat has been certified as a 3-star OCOP item.
