Book, newspaper exhibition on Party opens in Son La

A book and newspaper exhibition and a spring press festival themed around the Party opened at Vincom Plaza Son La, Son La city on January 19.

This year’s exhibition features over 1,000 books and documents on the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, and the achievements of Vietnam and Son La province in particular. On display are also 3,000 books and related publications available for purchase at discounted prices.

One of the highlights is the presentation of more than 400 carefully selected spring publications by central media outlets, Son La Newspaper, and other press agencies from provinces and cities nationwide.

The exhibition also features a special collection of 50 paintings by members of the Dao Huyen Trang Young Art Club in Son La city, under the theme "Spring Colours – Welcoming 2025”.

 Delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the exhibition.

The exhibition serves as a standout in the lineup of activities marking the 95th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - 2025) and celebrating the Year of the Snake. It presents a collection of high-quality books and newspapers with diverse and engaging content, leaving a strong impression on readers.

It also aims to ignite a love for reading, and encourage the development of reading habits, contributing to the growth of the reading culture.

The event, to last until January 21, is set to be an ideal destination for readers of all ages as they welcome the Lunar New Year. Once the exhibition concludes, the spring publications from central media outlets, Son La Newspaper, and other press agencies nationwide will be donated to the officers and soldiers of border posts across Son La province.
