The percentage of households with fiber-optic subscriptions exceeded 53%. Additionally, 101,216 new fixed broadband subscriber ports were developed.

The province also added 7,208 new fiber-optic cable routes, increasing the total to 8,724 with a combined length of 6,360 km, connecting the province to communes, wards, and towns. Telecommunications companies continued investing in infrastructure in remote areas, ensuring 4G mobile networks reach all communes, wards, and towns. Mobile broadband 4G coverage extended to 96.26% of villages, with data speeds reaching at least 40 Mbps.

At the conference, participants discussed expanding mobile broadband coverage to underserved hamlets. In 2025, the province aims to modernise and expand broadband infrastructure to support the National Digital Transformation Programme by 2025, with a vision to 2030. Key targets include increasing mobile broadband coverage to 97.99% of the total hamlets, deploying approximately 165 new 4G stations, and expanding infrastructure to 326 hamlets currently without fixed broadband.
