Chairman of provincial People’s Committee visits former leaders

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2), Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, and head of the provincial Delegation to the National Assembly Nguyen Dinh Viet has visited and presented gifts to former provincial leaders currently residing in Son La.

The delegation paid visits to former Deputy Secretaries of the provincial Party Committee and former Chairmen of the provincial People’s Committee Luong An and Cam Ngoc Minh, both residing in To Hieu ward.

The former leaders expressed their appreciation for the attention shown by the current provincial leadership and believed with its strong tradition of solidarity and spirit of innovation, Son La will continue to grow rapidly and sustainably.

On behalf of the provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman Viet extended heartfelt gratitude to the former key leaders of the province, who devoted their wisdom and dedication to the revolutionary cause and the overall development of Son La.

He expressed his hope that the former leaders would continue to serve as role models, sharing their valuable experience to support the provincial Party Committee, particularly in preparation for the upcoming 16th provincial Party Congress. He also emphasised their continued role as spiritual pillars and sources of encouragement, helping to inspire officials, Party members, and local people to unite in building an increasingly prosperous Son La.
