Chairman of provincial People’s Council visits, presents gifts to veteran revolutionary

Nguyen Thai Hung, member of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, on August 28 visited and presented gifts to La Tan Khoi Viet, a veteran revolutionary residing in To Hieu ward.

On behalf of the provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Hung extended his regards and inquired about Viet’s health and well-being, expressing deep gratitude for his significant contributions to the province’s development.

He also shared updates on the province’s socio-economic situation, the restructuring and streamlining of the state apparatus, the organisation of major upcoming events, and preparations for the 130th founding anniversary of Son La province.

He expressed his hope that Viet would continue to set a good example, encourage his descendants and the local community to remain united and actively participate in local movements, contributing to the development of the province.

The delegation visits the family of veteran revolutionary La Tan Khoi Viet.
