Co Ma High School celebrates 20th founding anniversary

The Co Ma High School in Thuan Chau district held a ceremony to celebrate its 20th founding anniversary (2004-2024) and the 42nd Vietnam Teachers' Day (November 20) on November 16.

The Co Ma High School, established on August 23, 2004, is tasked with providing high school education to students in six highland communes: Co Ma, E Tong, Co Tong, Long He, Pa Long, and Muong Bam.

Over the past 20 years, the school has focused on improving its infrastructure, expanding its scale, enhancing the quality of education, and applying information technology and digital transformation. Currently, it has 31 staff members, including teachers and managerial personnel, all of whom meet or exceed the required standards. Among them, five teachers have been honoured with the title of “provincial emulation fighters”.

In the 2023-2024 academic year, more than 90% of students achieved good or excellent conduct, while 28% reached a good or excellent academic level. The school also won a third prize in the provincial science and technology competition. The graduation rate for the 2024 high school graduation exam hit 100%.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Education and Training awarded its certificates of merit to the Co Ma High School as well as to six individuals. The provincial People's Committee also presented its certificates of merit to five individuals, and the Department of Education and Training gave its certificates of commendation to five individuals for their outstanding contributions to the construction and development of the school.

Outside in the fields, cooperative members diligently tend to rows of organic vegetables, as well as plum, grape, peach, and strawberry trees. Inside the processing workshop, modern machinery operates day and night, producing delicious batches of dried fruit.
