Congratulations extended to provincial Military Command on army day

A delegation of provincial leaders visited and extended congratulations to officers and soldiers of the Son La provincial Military Command on December 22, on the occasion of the 81st founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army and the 36th anniversary of the All-People’s National Defence Day (December 22, 1989 – 2025).

The delegation included Ha Trung Chien, member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; and Vice Chairmen of the provincial People’s Committee Dang Ngoc Hau and Nguyen Minh Tien.

The delegation of the provincial People’s Committee visits and extends congratulations to officers and soldiers of the provincial Military Command on December 22.

Chien extended his congratulations to all officers and soldiers of the provincial Military Command, acknowledging and appreciating the achievements of the provincial armed forces in carrying out local military and national defence tasks in 2025.

He also requested that officers and soldiers of the provincial Military Command strictly maintain combat readiness duty regimes; effectively conduct combat readiness training; focus on building a regular, elite, and gradually modernised force to meet task requirements in the new situation; closely coordinate in carrying out mass mobilisation work; effectively implement personnel and military rear policies; and actively participate in disaster prevention, mitigation, and search and rescue efforts.

Leaders of the provincial Military Command expressed their gratitude for the attention and support of provincial leaders, affirming their strong determination that in the coming period, the provincial Military Command will continue to closely coordinate with relevant forces to firmly grasp the local situation, effectively carry out national defence and security tasks, and proactively advise local Party committees and authorities in promptly addressing issues arising at the grassroots level, ensuring that no unexpected situations occur, thereby living up to the trust of the Party Organisation, authorities, and people of all ethnic groups in the province.

On the same day, Dinh Thi Bich Thao, member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee and head of the committee’s Board for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation, also paid a visit and extended congratulations to officers and soldiers of the provincial Military Command on the occasion.

They also expressed their hope to continue receiving close attention and coordination from the board in the coming time in information and mass mobilisation efforts, contributing to strengthening the all-people national defence posture in the current period.
