Also attending the event was Nguyen Minh Tien, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; leaders of several departments and agencies; representatives of the Yen Chau commune People’s Committee; and relevant units.

The project covers a total area of over 117,700 sq.m, with an estimated population of around 1,800. Its objective is to renovate and upgrade the urban area, developing a new residential area with comprehensive technical infrastructure, social infrastructure, and commercial housing in accordance with the approved 1:500 detailed plan.

Under the plan, the developer will invest in a comprehensive technical infrastructure system covering more than 41,000 sq.m, including transportation, electricity supply, water supply and drainage, lighting, and telecommunications systems. In terms of social infrastructure, an over-15,500-sq.m market will be built, along with two parks with a total area of more than 18,500 sq.m, which will be handed over to the State for management upon completion.

The project includes 297 residential land plots. Of these, the investor will build and complete the exterior of 28 houses along the main roads, while the remaining plots will have infrastructure fully developed prior to transfer in accordance with regulations. The resettlement area consists of 20 land plots to accommodate households whose land is acquired.

The total investment is estimated at about 472.4 billion VND (17.93 million USD), funded by the investor’s equity and other legally mobilised sources. The project is expected to be implemented within 57 months.

Concluding the event, Chairman Viet emphasised that the project plays an important role in urban renovation and infrastructure improvement, creating momentum for the development of the downtown area of Yen Chau commune. He requested Yen Chau to coordinate in communication efforts to build public consensus and accelerate site clearance.

The province is committed to accompanying and supporting the investor throughout the implementation process, he stressed, calling for focusing resources to ensure progress, quality, and efficiency, thereby contributing to making Yen Chau’s urban area increasingly modern and well-developed.
