Cultural house in Pung hamlet cluster inaugurated

Nam Lau commune on October 17 coordinated with the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Project Management Unit of Thuan Chau district, and representatives from the Embassy of India in Vietnam to hold the inauguration ceremony of the cultural house in Pung hamlet cluster.

The project was built as a solid, permanent structure with a total area of 185 square meters and a total investment of over 1.2 billion VND (45,555 USD), funded by the Quick Impact Projects (QIPs) of the Indian Government. After three months of construction, the facility was completed with all key components, including the main cultural house, courtyard, fences, and several auxiliary works.

The cultural house serves as an important communal space for local residents. It functions as a venue for meetings, dissemination of Party guidelines and State laws, as well as for organising cultural, artistic, and sports activities. The centre plays a vital role in promoting grassroots cultural life and strengthening community solidarity.

The inauguration of the cultural house mark a significant milestone in the spirit of solidarity and cooperation between Vietnam and India in the fields of community development, sustainable poverty reduction, and people-to-people cultural exchange.

This project stands as a symbol of sharing, partnership, and development, giving more motivation for Nam Lau commune to continue its reform efforts, develop new-style rural areas, and preserve cultural identity in the era of international integration.
