Decisions of provincial People’s Committee Chairman on personnel work announced

Member of the provincial Party Committee's Standing Board and Permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Ha Trung Chien on March 31 chaired a conference to announce and present the decisions of the Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee on personnel work.

Attending the event were Vi Duc Tho, member of the provincial Party Committee's Standing Board and Permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, along with leaders of provincial departments, agencies, and sectors.

At the conference, the provincial Department of Home Affairs announced Decision No. 744/QD-UBND issued on March 28, 2026 by the Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee on the appointment of Hoang Thi Doi, full-time deputy head of the provincial Delegation of 15th National Assembly Deputies, as Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism for five years, from March 29, 2026.

The conference also announced Decision No. 778/QD-UBND dated March 30, 2026 on the appointment of Tran Xuan Viet, Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, as Director of the provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Centre.

The conference also announced Decision No. 768/QD-UBND dated March 30, 2026 on the appointment of Le Thi Hong Anh, Director of the Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Centre, as Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Speaking at the event, Chien congratulated the officials on their appointment to new positions. He emphasised the important role of the department and the centre in the province’s socio-economic development, and requested the leaders of the two units to promptly convene meetings to assign responsibilities in line with the spirit of “six clear” -  clear people in charge, clear tasks, clear responsibilities, clear authority, clear deadlines and clear outcomes.

He expressed his expectation that in their new roles, they will promote their capabilities, foster unity with officials, civil servants, and public employees within their units, and swiftly introduce strategic advisory solutions for the provincial Party Committee, the People’s Council, and the People’s Committee, thereby creating breakthroughs in culture, tourism, and investment and trade promotion. This, he noted, will contribute to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 16th Son La provincial Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term, building Son La into a province with green, rapid, and sustainable development.
