Election preparations in Yen Chau area supervised

Supervision Delegation No. 05 of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board, led by Luong Thi Van Anh, member of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board and head of the provincial Party Committee’s Internal Affairs Board, on March 14 inspected and supervised election preparations in the communes of Yen Chau, Long Phieng, Phieng Khoai, Yen Son, Chieng Hac, and Chieng Sai.

At the localities, the delegation inspected and supervised preparations of facilities and equipment serving the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; the preparation of ballot boxes; the development of plans for compiling election information; and the situation of local political security and social order.

At polling stations with a large number of voters, to ensure the election proceeds smoothly, election teams have arranged specific time slots for each residential area and encouraged voters to come to vote according to the announced schedule, avoiding overcrowding and congestion at polling stations. The delegation also directly inspected several polling stations in hamlets.

Through the field inspections, Van Anh acknowledged the proactive efforts of local Party committees and authorities in leading, directing, and implementing election preparation tasks. She also requested the communes to continue strengthening communication so that voters clearly understand their rights and responsibilities and participate in voting fully and on schedule; enhance inspection and supervision at the grassroots level; and proactively prepare plans to handle possible situations, ensuring the successful organisation of the election in the localities.
