Emulation campaign launched for Son La children

The provincial Youth Union on March 24 held a festival and launched a five-week emulation campaign for children across Son La province at the Moc Ly Primary School in Moc Chau township on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30).

The event was connected to 18 locations at schools across the country. At these sites, children enthusiastically responded to the campaign through meaningful activities in both learning and moral training. They demonstrated their commitment to doing good deeds, contributing to the growth of the Ho Chi Minh Vanguard Children's Union.

On this occasion, ceremonies were held to induct new members into the Ho Chi Minh Vanguard Children's Union, present 1,000 red scarves to the members of the Ho Chi Minh Vanguard Children's Union, and commend 15 outstanding students in Moc Chau township with the title “Uncle Ho's Good Children” at the provincial level.

Also at the festival, nearly 1,000 students came together to stage a performance. This activity fostered a sense of pride of national traditions as well as the glorious legacy of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. It also helped raise students’ awareness, encouraging them to strive for better academic performance, becoming exemplary students and Uncle Ho’s good children.
