Five provincial-level science-technology projects accepted

The council for assessing provincial-level science and technology projects appraised and accepted five projects this month.

The projects include the research and application of the model planting new drought-resistant grape variety (Ha Den) organically in Son La province; the research of the F1 hybrid between BBB and Lai Sind cows in Son La province; the research and building of a typical model of green tourism in the Moc Chau National Tourist Area; the application of information-technology in building information modeling (BIM) to manage urban drainage and wastewater treatment systems in Son La city; and the selection and building of a cultivation process for a number of bamboo varieties in combination with creating landscapes for tourism development in Van Ho district.

The provincial Department of Science and Technology will continue to implement tasks under the Intellectual Property Development Programme in Son La province for the 2021-2025 period with a vision towards 2030.

It approved the list of organisations and individuals in charge of the projects, along with the detailed outlines, implementation time and budget estimate for ordered provincial-level science and technology projects, using the state budget in 2023.
