Pham Van Dong Road is 820 meters long in total, designed with a 16.5-meter-wide roadbed, 10.5-meter-wide carriageway, and 3-meter sidewalks. Phase 1, covering 620 meters, was completed by the end of 2023. The road has now been fully completed and opened to traffic, marking a key milestone in celebration of the 16th Provincial Party Congress.

Traffic Route No. 4 project has a length of 150 metres, connecting Route No. 3 to Nguyen Van Linh street. The project includes a complete urban infrastructure system: asphalt pavement, sidewalks, green space, street lighting, drainage, and technical infrastructure, ensuring traffic safety.

The sidewalk renovation and upgrading project targets key streets such as Tran Dang Ninh, Le Duan, Cach mang Thang Tam, Thanh Nien, and Le Duc Tho. This project involves nearly 28 km of sidewalks. It has been divided into four construction packages, all of which have completed investment preparation and contractor selection through the bidding process.

Delegates cut the ribbon at the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremony for projects celebrating the 16th Son La provincial Party Congress (2025–2030 term).
