Head of provincial Party Committee’s Organisation Board attends Great National Unity Festival in Nong hamlet

Nguyen Duc Thanh, member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee and head of the committee’s Organisation Board, attended the Great National Unity Festival in Nong hamlet, Muong Sai commune on November 13.

Nong hamlet has 93 households with 470 residents, all of whom belong to the Thai ethnic group. In recent years, local people have maintained strong unity, preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values and fine customs of the community. Every year, over 75% of households are recognissed as cultural families; 100% of children of school age attend school; and all families strive to meet the standards of “Prosperity, Equality, Progress, and Happiness.” Residents actively support one another in economic development, their living standards have steadily improved, and security and order in the area remain stable and well-maintained.

Sharing the joy with Nong hamlet residents, Thanh commended and congratulated the achievements the hamlet has attained. He urged the hamlet’s Party cell, management board, Fatherland Front, and mass organisations to further strengthen the dissemination of the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws, maintain close ties between the Party, the authorities, and the people, and continue fostering solidarity and collective effort to effectively implement patriotic emulation movements.

On this occasion, Thanh presented gifts from the provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to the people of Nong hamlet.

Earlier, he inspected and learned about the operation of the two-tier local government model in the communes of Quynh Nhai, Muong Chien, Muong Sai, and Muong Gion. He acknowledged the positive results achieved in implementing the model and requested local Party committees, authorities, Fatherland Front, and socio-political organisations to build on these achievements, overcome challenges, and lead the people to successfully fulfill assigned tasks.
