Incense offering ceremony held to commemorate heroic martyrs, youth volunteers

On the occasion of the 75th Traditional Day of the Vietnamese Youth Volunteer Force (July 15, 1950 - 2025), the Standing Board of the Son La provincial Youth Union held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate heroic martyrs, youth volunteers, and frontline workers at Co Noi Intersection historical site in Mai Son commune on July 15.

Attending the event were Vi Duc Tho, member of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board, Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Dinh Thi Bich Thao, member of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board, Chairwoman of the provincial Party Committee's Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation; members of the Association of Former Youth Volunteers; and youth union members and young people in Mai Son commune.

In a solemn atmosphere, the delegates expressed their deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for national independence. Son La youth vowed to continue the tradition, train, study, work, and contribute to building a rich and civilised homeland.

On this occasion, standing members of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Standing Board of the provincial Youth Union presented gifts to the Association of Former Youth Volunteers and the former youth volunteers, demonstrating the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" and the attention of authorities at all levels and sectors to their great contributions.
