Co Noi T-junction, located at the intersection of National Road 37 and National Road 6 in Co Noi commune, Mai Son district, was a main route used by the military and people to transport supplies for the Dien Bien Phu Campaign. Hundreds of youth volunteers sacrificed their lives here, contributing to the resounding victory of the campaign.

In a solemn atmosphere, delegates offered incense and flowers in memory of the martyrs who devoted their lives for the independence and freedom of the nation, contributing to the historic victory of Dien Bien Phu, which put an end to the resistance war against French colonialists. Remembering the contributions of the martyrs, today's leaders and youth continue to uphold the revolutionary traditions and work towards the successful implementation of socio-economic, national defence, and security goals, thereby building an increasingly prosperous Son La.

The annual incense offering ceremony, held on the 22nd day of the 3rd lunar month, reflects the love, responsibility, and respect of today’s generation for the martyrs. It also aims to educate the youth about the revolutionary traditions and ideals, inspiring them to live with responsibility for building and protecting the Fatherland.
