The oath-taking ceremony held for new recruits in 2025
This year, Regiment 754 received and trained 300 new soldiers. The regiment has focused on innovating its management and training practices, aligning tactics and techniques with real-life conditions and assigned missions.
Training has been conducted in a concerted and in-depth manner, with military training closely linked to political and ideological education to build strong political resolve and discipline among the new recruits.
Additionally, the unit has promoted the application of technical innovation and information technology in training, while ensuring timely and sufficient logistics, financial, and technical support for both regular and unscheduled missions.

New recruits take the oath under the military flag.
Inspection and evaluation of the training outcomes showed that 100% of the new recruits met the requirements in political education and military training. Of these, 89% achieved good to excellent results in drill training, and 87.3% excelled in logistics and technical training.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Dang Van Long, Deputy Commander of Military Region 2, praised Regiment 754 for its achievements in training new soldiers.
He urged the unit to continue training in accordance with the motto “Fundamental, Practical, and Solid,” emphasising hands-on practice and prioritising the training of officers and soldiers.
He also called on the new recruits to uphold the revolutionary soldier’s sense of responsibility and complete all training programmes during their enlistment.
