Preparations for high school graduation exam in Mai Son district inspected

Nguyen Thai Hung, member of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board and Chairman of the provincial People's Council, on June 17 led a working delegation to inspect preparations for the 2024 high school graduation exam in Mai Son district.

For the 2024 high school graduation exam, Mai Son district has three exam locations, namely Mai Son High School, Co Noi High School and Chu Van Thinh High School, with 62 exam rooms and 1,434 candidates.

Mai Son district has well prepared facilities for the exam and developed plans to keep tests in secrecy; ensure health care, electricity and water supply, security and order, food safety and hygiene; handle unexpected situations that may occur during the exam, such as storms floods, fires, epidemics; and support students living far from exam locations and those in difficult circumstances.

Young volunteer teams have prepared vehicles and stand ready to help transport candidates to the exam sites in case of natural disasters, storms, floods and landslides. The schools have persuaded collectives, individuals, and benefactors to provide financial support totaling over 38 million VND (1,492) for 193 students in difficult circumstances.

At the exam sites, Hung encouraged teachers and students to make thorough preparations to achieve the highest results in the 2024 high school graduation exam.

He asked Mai Son district to devise a backup plan to deal with adverse weather conditions during the exam; ensure traffic safety, security and order, food safety and hygiene so that the exam will take place safely and seriously in accordance with regulations.
